icht einmal ein Jahr nach dem vierten Album veröffentlichen ABIGOR diese MCD mit sechs neuen Tracks und einer Spielzeit von ca. 17 Minuten. Die drei ersten relativ kurzen Songs sind praktisch durchgehen extrem schnell während die letzten Songs zumindest teilweise etwas langsamer und auch abwechslungsreicher sind. Sirrende Gitarren, rasende Drums und das fast schon typische Gekreische zeichnet alle Songs aus, wobei besonders die Gnadenlosigkeit, mit der die Songs dem Hörer um die Ohren geprügelt werden überzeugt. Irgendwie gefällt dieses Werk mehr als der Vorgänger, vielleicht nur deswegen weil `Apokalypse` sehr kompakt und in einem Guß rüberkommt. Natürlich gänzlich ohne Schnörkel, nur das Essentielle wird geboten.

his is really the filth release of this Austrian band, and I love it as I have loved every other ABIGOR release in the past as well. With `Apokalypse` they have not chosen the easiest way though, as it features raw and basic black metal without any extras, but with a truly extreme and apocalyptic feeling. Short songs, rough sound and hellish speed often reminding on the great ZYKLON-B make this release a fucking raw and bizarre blast. The simple b/w packaging fits perfectly to this, so while some people think that this it ABIGOR's weakest release thus far - I think it's fabulous!
