ABIGOR - the rebirth!
There've been a lot of pro and contra but at least I decided to restart ABIGOR, leave HELLBOUND and lay ST.LUCIFER to ice. There're different reasons for this decision, and some might hate me about it, but I give a shit on them. I know, I wrote that I am pissed by the Black-Metal scene as I split ABIGOR back in 2003, and still I am, but maybe this "not being involved" made me thirsty again. However, I don't feel the need to justify my point of view anymore, accept it or not, ABIGOR is back!
Currently it's me and Lukas Lindenberger on drums, but T.T., Thurisaz, and Silenius are still invited to join the band again, time will tell.
Don't expect a rise of the 'old' ABIGOR, it's 2006, ABIGOR is reborn, and it'll be a new area - we're back, still hell!

Referring to the email bombardments of scorn and judgement
concerning ABIGOR's Orkblut/Nachthymnen re-release I must sum
up that I quit the deal with NAPALM RECORDS in spring 2003.
I don't have any rights on any ABIGOR material anymore, nor
did I know that NAPALM plan such a release! I didn't know anything
of that release, nor do I care about it anymore. However, it's
limited and as far I know they did an overall remastering of
the songs, so it might be a suitable collectors item, if you
can't accept it, just fuck off and don't bore me with tons
of emails.
The 7", Shockwave 666 is still not out! I don't know
what's going on at DARK HORIZON RECORDS, but I hope that the
7" will see the light of day soon.
Beside that HELLBOUND changed their name into HEIDENREICH
because of some rightly problems. Also 2 new songs will be
recorded soon, maybe a split 7" with INFINITY will be
released too, more infos will follow.
ST.LUCIFER is still in progress and the promo will delay once
more, I plan it's release in autumn. Time will tell

ABIGOR has split up...
There're different reasons for my decision, mainly because
I am pissed by the entire Black-Metal genre. I simply can't
identify myself, nor ABIGOR with today's Black-Metal genre
anymore - it simply limits my creativity in so many ways,
and I guess too many people and fans won't be able to understand
the new material, because it's by far too untypical, technical
and complex. Too many are addicted to old values, and our
previous releases, while I hate stagnation and I am not willed
to compose a copy of any previous record just to satisfy the
need of the people, and our distributions!
ABIGOR was deeply rooted within Black-Metal, within it's
true values - not addicted to sale-rates, not addicted to
the opinion & reviews of magazines, and fucking not addicted,
nor interested in the views & opinions of x-hundred fans,
that tried to tell us how we should create music that they
like it.
ABIGOR stud for individuality! We never set us any limits,
it was the union of quite different and insane individuals
that tried to realize their visions through music -self-realization
- as I called it throughout the years - all on a very personal
level, to sum it up, ABIGOR was the expression of extreme
mental attitudes through extreme music, based on a satanic,
blasphemic & misanthropic background. However, I won't
discuss about decisions anymore, just accept it - ABIGOR is
dead & gone!
I'd like to thank all the current, new- and ex-members, and
the NAPALM crew for their 200% support. A last hail to all
our die-hard fans that supported ABIGOR since 1993, and all
the bands and individuals I am in frequent contact with, you
know who you are - the flames' still burning, but the circle
is closed...
The website will still be online and updated from time to
time, just to inform you about the new/other activities of
the members, but be sure, there won't be a re-union!

"... Because of some serious
problems with NAPALM RECORDS concerning the studio, and the
budget of the upcoming album, I decided to lay ABIGOR on ice!
NAPALM don't accept the studio we'd like to record at, Martin
(HOLLENTHON / PUNGENT STENCH) as alternative producer/studio
lacks the time for our recording session, and so on, just
to sum it up -currently it is simply not possible to record
a new album, not with this differences, not with this compromises,
and conditions NAPALM offers us! Anyways, I'll continue the
work on material but there'll be some changes in ABIGOR, as
well a huge delay for "The Dead White Moonlight Songs",
be patient, we'll strike back sooner or later, but currently
we must find some solutions, and a way out of that dilemma,
we'll keep you updated..."

The 7", Schockwave 666, won't be released anymore!
The main problems were that NAPALM didn't show any interest
in it's release at all, and MAKHARU PRODUCTION's put their
little money, and effort in new signed bands, what already
caused a delay for more then 7 months!
The offers that the band received from different press-factories
were simply too expensive to release the 7" with a fair
price, because it should have been limited to 500 copies,
full-colour-layout and vinyl-print, simply a collectors item.
If there'll be any chance to release the 7" or even just
the 2 songs as bonus for an upcoming ABIGOR release, the band
will take the chance. So keep yourself updated, and look forward
to it!

Unfortunately a very sad information reached us recently:
"Because of an unforeseen accident that Peter K.,
ABIGOR's guitarist had, the band is not able to perform the
gig at the 27th of July 2002 (SKELETON BASH Festival, Innsbruck,
Austria). Because of that reason, it is not possible to engage
a session guitarist within only 1 week. The gig was fixed,
but currently it's not possible to play live, by no way. As
an additional result of that accident the recording of the
upcoming album "Warmachine (Angel's Fall)" will
also delay for an indefinite time because the band is more
or less laid on ice. Expect "Warmachine" in 2003,
to be continued with the album (or even MCD?). "The Dead
White Moonlight Songs" that'll be unleashed in late 2003/2004
(released through NAPALM)" (Peter K. Abigor & Napalm
Records Press Statement)."
Based on this we had to find a replacement urgently in a
very short time! By ENTHRONED we are sure to offer you another
Cult-Band of Blackmetal with a great live Performance! They
will exclusively present us insights into their upcoming album
to still guarantee a great underground party! It is definately
a difficult situation, but we were talking with P.K. already,
that a signing session might take place, depending on the
doctor's advise. For sure Moritz Neuner and the new vocalist
(Stefan Fiori) will be present. So do not forget to take your
CDs with you!
We apologise for all inconviniences caused, but we all have
to respect the health of Peter K and wish him a good recovery
in order to have good CDs for the future!
Please let us all make the best out of it!!! Besides that,
the Festival is independent of weather changes, but there
are many recovery places open-air. That will be a hell of
a party - be prepared. Support the underground!

From forth on not all interviews and e-mails will be answered
anymore, just interesting, those of importance, and of serious
magazines will be replied! Shirts, long-sleeves and CD's are
available through NAPALM or any other distribution, NOT through
the bands contact address! Or contact GODLESS PRODUCTIONS
(feuertaufe666@yahoo.com), the newer releases, and some rare
stuff is available for a special price there! Also remember
to contact NAPALM's promotion department if you're interested
in promos, photos, infos or whatever, or check out this website
for updated infos!
